Friends may leave written condolences online at: www.LeveringtonFH.com Russell Donn Fox was born February 5, 1959 in Belle Fourche. He was the son of Lloyd and Eunice (Dake) Fox. Russ grew up on the family ranch in Harding County and graduated from the Harding County High School in 1977. Russ drove semi-truck for Gunderson Trucking for a short time, and he loved living on the family ranch. He was united in marriage to Kathy Zeller in 1990. To this union one daughter, Falon, was born. Russ and Kathy eventually divorced, but they continued to care for each other. Russ loved music and he played several different instruments. Many people never knew how talented a drummer he was and that he played with several bands as well as some celebrities. He had a great sense of humor, loved driving his Ford pickup truck and later his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Hosting the annual “Rendezvous in the Short Pines”, located near the Fox family ranch was always great fun for him. During the last several years of his life, Russ’s faith in the Lord grew and much peace was found in his salvation. Russell is survived by his daughter, Falon (Casey) Fox of Colorado; sister, Sherry Fox of Pine Haven WY; brother-in-law, Mark Heairet of Belle Fourche; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Vicki Fox-Heairet and Deby Fox-Bail.
